People typically have two separate reactions to your marketing message — conscious and unconscious.

The conscious scrutiny is their reaction to the visual and verbal elements of your marketing message. The unconscious determination comes to bear when they arrive at your website or enter your store and make a buying decision. It’s the only valid way of determining if your marketing message is effective. At the end of the day aestheic appeal won’t necessarily deliver measureable marketing results.
